Digital learning during the pandemic – resources on cultural heritage by and for educators

During the academic year 2020-2021, the global pandemic has given the community of Europeana educators the opportunity to become more relevant in their work of integrating digital culture into learning practices and to grow. even more. Events such as Europeana education competition 2021 and the new MOOC Digital education with cultural heritage created additional online professional development opportunities, opening Europeana to even more educators interested in using digital technologies and new pedagogies with quality content.

Europeana Education and European school network created this manual to showcase the best practices of the year and help colleagues across Europe find innovative and ready-to-use teaching materials. We are confident that these resources will support educators in the coming school term for online, offline and hybrid teaching and learning environments.

This manual is based on the Teach with Europeana Blog, and just like the Blog, focuses on eight topics: Art, Diversity and Inclusion, Environment, History, Languages, Music, Philosophy, STEAM (STEM + Arts). It shares Learning Scenarios (LS) and Implementation Stories (SoI) that not only relate to a topic, but also introduce techniques, methodologies, key skills and more.

We hope that you can implement this manual both online and offline, and that it will be useful and beneficial for your teaching activities. Download the manual below and explore the interactive version below.
