TCS to design digital learning support framework for the Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain


Framework for Spanish and Global Universities will improve the student-teacher experience, streamline campus operations and exams

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the leading specialist in information technology (IT) has partnered with the Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain to design a digital framework that would provide access to the latest support services to e-learning and place Spanish engineering institutions on the global academic map.

TCS will leverage its in-depth domain knowledge and digital transformation expertise to create and deploy a “Forum for the Digitization of Higher Education” (FDHE), according to a statement.

It would be a framework for Spanish and global universities to improve the experience for students and educators, streamline operations on campus and improve the speed and transparency of assessments, the statement added.

The FDHE framework will digitize all touchpoints throughout a student’s lifecycle – from admissions management, campus and academic life to exam organization, results management and communications. with the students.

It will also lead to an increase in international student enrollments, helping Spanish engineering institutions to expand into global markets, the statement said, adding that the framework would encourage better engagement among applicants, students and alumni. .

Apart from this, the Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain and the TCS will create an Executive Governance Council that will work closely with government officials and academic professionals in Spain and around the world to create experiences of engaging learning for higher education leaders, teachers and students. The council will also work with industry sponsors to promote equity and inclusiveness in all schools, colleges and universities.
