In order to shape the digital learning ecosystem, Telenor Pakistan has officially partnered with Noon Academy to enhance the online learning experience for students. Through this partnership, students across the country will be able to learn through incentives.
This partnership is due to the educational challenges of the past year that have affected students across the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with Noon providing free quality education to nearly 10 million students in the MENA region, Telenor Pakistan is supporting Noon to enable STEM, language learning and exam preparation. When students register and complete a course or conference, a reward is provided to the students, thereby incentivizing learning.
According to Telenor Pakistan COO Khurrum Ashfaque:
“By working together and creating collaborations with partners like Noon, we can close the gap in the resources available to more than 40 million K-12 students in Pakistan. We aim to motivate young minds to tackle today’s education barriers while Noon equips them to meet tomorrow’s challenges with the latest 21st century skills. Together, we aim to optimize new technologies to improve the skills of our young people and ensure that learning and development never stops.
Noon Global Emerging Markets Director Umair Babar Chishti added:
“Noon is a global mission to make learning fun and engaging while providing free access to top teachers around the world. Our partnership with Telenor Pakistan helps us inspire Pakistani students to see first-hand how the online learning experience can be extremely amazing and beneficial.
